"Victorian Twilight" (2016) - Mounted Prints - (17"x14.5")

On a dark and wet evening sometime during the last century, light breaks through and cascades down though the smoke filled canopy at the Great Central Railway-built Nottingham Victoria Station.

A GCR 'Director' class sits awaiting the off with a Marylebone express whilst a fellow sister engine enters the station and accelerates briskly under the canopy with its partially fitted goods train.

Sadly, all that remains of the impressive Victorian architecture now is the clock tower that was once the station entrance that now stands somewhat lost, dwarfed by the brutalitarian concrete architecture that is the Victoria shopping centre.

These are high quality giclee prints complete with plain white mount measuring 17"x14.5" inside the mount.
